Antonioli Milano is pleased to announce the launch of the GRID9000 MILANO, a new and exclusive limited edition model that comes from passion for sneakers and is inspired by the city it is named after. Conceived by Milanese sneaker expert Matteo Teruzzi based on the original 1990s Saucony model Grid 9000, this limited edition stands out for the comfort offered while walking and the original tongue in asymmetrical neoprene. GRID9000 MILANO’s upper appears to be tone on tone and incorporates shades of beige, grey, pink and purple that exactly resembles the colours of the marbles covering Milan’s Cathedral. The black sprayed on some of the panels and part of the soles recalls the church’s smooth but irregular surface. The Saucony „S“ stylized on the sides of the shoes alternate in gold – like the statue of the Madonnina – and in green – like the entrance doors to the Cathedral. This combination of elements is presented in a never-before-seen order on a pair of sneakers: both asymmetrical and parallel. This makes it so the sneakers are seen differently from the right or the left, while still maintaining a uniform, balanced appearance.
